We do not sell customer business records to advertisers.

5. Customer Data and Service Provider Role

For business records entered by a company using WorkDaxer, the company is generally the controller or owner of that data, and WorkDaxer acts as a service provider/processor to deliver the platform.

If you are an end customer of a service company, contact that company directly for questions about your service records, invoices, quotes, photos, or job history, unless your request concerns WorkDaxer's own privacy practices.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to remember preferences, secure sessions, analyze usage, improve the website, measure marketing performance, and troubleshoot errors.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

7. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, authentication, encryption where appropriate, backups, monitoring, and internal security practices.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting account credentials, limiting user access, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide services, manage accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain backups, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and operate our business.

After account termination, some data may remain in backups or logs for a limited period before deletion or anonymization.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit certain personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages.

We will respond to privacy requests as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity and authority before processing a request.

Certain U.S. state privacy laws may provide additional rights to residents. If WorkDaxer becomes subject to such laws based on its operations, revenue, data volume, or customer locations, WorkDaxer will provide required notices and mechanisms.

16. Connected Google Accounts and Email

Connecting a Google account is optional. When you choose to connect Gmail, WorkDaxer requests your authorization through Google OAuth. We receive your account email address and profile information to identify the connected mailbox, and access and refresh tokens to maintain the connection. WorkDaxer does not ask for or store your Google password.

The mail integration uses authorized Gmail API and IMAP access to display folders, message headers, senders, recipients, subjects, message bodies, attachments, and read/unread status. It allows you to read, compose, send, reply to, and manage email from WorkDaxer Mail. A company can also select its connected mailbox to send operational communications such as quotes and invoices. New-message notifications use message metadata to alert authorized users and open the corresponding email.

A personal mailbox is available to the user who connected it. A mailbox explicitly connected as a company mailbox is shared with that company's authorized internal users, who can read, reply to, and manage its messages. Connecting a personal mailbox does not automatically share it with other company members or other companies.

Google account tokens are encrypted in WorkDaxer storage. To provide mailbox access and notifications, WorkDaxer stores mailbox settings, session references, synchronization state, message metadata, and temporary cached message content in its hosting infrastructure and Roundcube database. Cached mail data is subject to configured cache expiration. Email and attachments remain with the mail provider unless a user acts on them or saves them separately as business records.

We use Google user data only to provide the connected account and email features described above. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising or profiling, or use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not share a personal mailbox with unrelated companies. Transfers are limited to what is necessary to provide these user-facing features, including service providers operating our hosting and mail infrastructure, actions you authorize, applicable legal requirements, and permitted business transfers subject to these same restrictions.

People do not read Google user data except with your affirmative agreement for specific messages, when necessary for security or abuse investigation, as required by applicable law, or for internal operations using aggregated and anonymized data. General marketing and analytics purposes described elsewhere in this policy do not apply to connected Google email content.

We follow the Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements when using or transferring Google user data.

You can disconnect a mailbox in WorkDaxer's mail settings and revoke WorkDaxer's access from your Google Account connections. Disconnecting disables use of that mailbox connection; it does not delete mail held by Google, previously sent messages, or business records saved separately in WorkDaxer. To request deletion of stored connection data, cached content, or related personal information, contact privacy@workdaxer.com. We verify the requester's authority and apply the retention rules in this policy, including applicable legal obligations and backup retention.
